IIT Guwahati incubated startup at international borders for AI-driven surveillance know details

A major step has been taken towards further strengthening the security of India’s international borders. In fact, a startup associated with IIT Guwahati in Assam has developed robots operated from Artificial Intelligence (AI), which are capable of real -time monitoring in border areas. The startup is named Dr. Spatio Robotic Laboratory Private Limited (DSRL), which has been created by the Technology Incubation Center in IIT Guwahati.

According to the report, the field testing of these robots has been started by the Indian Army. DSRL CEO Arnab Kumar Burman said that these AI based autonomous robots solve many problems. These include the ability to climb high pillars, smart technology to overcome obstacles and AI -powered facilities. This technology can prove to be a game-chanter not only for border security but also for border security.

Recognition from DRDO

Keyur Sorathia, head of the Technology Incubation Center in IIT Guwahati, said that this innovation is a symbol of commitment to strengthen India’s national security with indigenous high-tech solutions. These robots have also been recognized by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), which reflects the possibility of including it in the country’s defense structure.

These robots are useful for these areas

This technique will be especially useful in areas where people are difficult to go. These robots can not only work day and night, but can also face the challenges of the weather.
