According to the instructions of Municipal Council Khanna President Kamaljit Singh Ladhar and Executive Officer Charanjit Singh Ubhi, Tehbazari branch in-charge Anil Kumar Gattu today removed illegal encroachments from various places in the city. On this occasion, the council team removed the goods lying on the government land in front of the shops at Jarnaili Road, Manja Bazar and other different places and seized the goods of the shopkeepers who did not follow the rules on the spot.
On this occasion, the officials gave a stern warning that strict action will be taken against shopkeepers who repeatedly keep goods on the road or footpath due to violation of rules. On this occasion, Anil Kumar said that no shopkeeper will be allowed to violate the rules in the city and the campaign to remove illegal encroachment from other places of the city will continue in the coming time and strict action will be taken against the violators. He appealed to the residents of the city that all the shopkeepers should keep their goods inside so that the common people do not have to face any kind of trouble. Jaswinder Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Harry Sharma, Krishna Kumar, Vikram, Vicky, Rohit, Anil Kumar and others were present on this occasion.
