Why did there be a ruckus in Nepal?
Recently, the Nepal government had banned many social media apps including Facebook and Instagram in the country. Due to corruption, this decision worked as a spark for the youth sitting against the government and people came out on the streets. The protesters set government buildings on fire. About 20 people have died and 300 people have been injured in the protest. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister has submitted his resignation.
Why angry over ‘Napo Baby’?
Before the ban on social media apps, people were sharing videos of the children of the rich and powerful families of the country, criticizing them. Social media users were angry that these people are doing Ash on the tax money of common people of the country. People were also taking the name of the series in these ‘Napo Babies’. The series is the daughter of former Nepal Health Minister Bodhtha Khatiwada. His mother is also a member of the State Parliament of Bagmati province.
The series won the title in 2018
The series won the title of Miss Nepal in 2018. Later she also went to participate in the competition of Miss World and here she was able to reach the top 12. Before the start of Jane Ji Protest in Nepal, he had more than 1 million followers on Instagram, but now their number is continuously decreasing. His followers say that the series had to support this Protest, but he maintained silence. On August 27, he had more than 10 lakh followers on Instagram, but by 9 September he decreased by about one lakh.
