Pakistan Terrorism: India has accused Pakistan of following its dual policy in the case of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said on Friday (6 December) that if Masood Azhar is in Pakistan then it exposes his reality. India has demanded Pakistan to take strict action against Masood Azhar so that he can be brought to justice.

According to reports, Masood Azhar gave a public speech in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, which raised questions as to why Pakistan denied his presence. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson said, “If these reports are true, it exposes Pakistan’s dual policy. Masood Azhar is involved in cross-border terrorist attacks in India and we want strict action to be taken against him.”

JeM responsible for Pulwama attack

According to the information, Masood Azhar’s terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed has taken responsibility for many terrorist attacks, including the 2019 Pulwama attack in which more than 40 CRPF soldiers were martyred. Regarding this attack, India has accused Pakistan many times that it supports terrorists.

India’s attitude towards Pakistan

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar had recently said that Pakistan has made terrorism a part of its statecraft and there is no need to hide this. He said, “We are facing a complex situation with our western neighbor who uses terrorism for its own purposes. This is a long standing issue which India will no longer ignore.” He also said that terrorism in Pakistan has spread on an “industry level”.

India adopted strict steps against terrorism

Jaishankar said, “India no longer sees any way to escape from this problem. If we have a problem, we have to face it. India’s morale is that terrorism will not be ignored and Pakistan will be held accountable on this issue. Will have to face.”
