India on US F-35 Russian Su-57 Fighter Jet : It has been discussed in India for a long time that which of the US F-35 and Russian SU-57 fighter aircraft will be better for the Indian Air Force? Both these fighter aircraft are 5th generation fighter jets and are more popular for their different capabilities. Currently, both these fighter aircraft are participating in Aero India-2025 held in Bengaluru, India. At the same time, both these aircraft are affected by the Indian Air Force during this period.
In fact, the Indian Air Force is currently struggling with the problem of fighter jet shortage, especially the 5th generation aircraft. In such a situation, if the Indian aircraft makes this new deal, then that deal will be of billions of dollars. To achieve this, both America and Russia are pushing their heels.
At the same time, India is also engaged in making fifth generation aircraft. The name of this project is AMCA, but it will take at least 10 years to the year 2034 for its completion. But China has deployed 200J20 stest aircraft across the Indian border. At the same time, Pakistan is also going to buy 40 J-35 fighter aircraft of fifth generation from China. In such a situation, American and Russia hope that India can make a deal with fighter aircraft.
At present, it is not decided that India will try to buy American or Russian fighter jets. Some Defense Experts believe that India can run its bets on the 4.5 generation Rafale fighter jet in France.
Russian government company gives golden deal to Indian Air Force
Russia’s government weapon -making company Rosoborone Export has also offered a golden deal in front of the Indian Air Force. The company’s Director General Alexander Mikhev has announced that, “Rosoboron Export has proposed a joint development on the SU-57E project.” Apart from this, he will also help in the development of Indian fifth generation fighter aircraft.
At the same time, the US has not yet officially submitted any deal to India regarding its F-35 Lightning II. But it is believed that the Donald Trump administration may soon offer it to India.
Will India move forward with Rafale fighter jet?
However, at present, India wants to include multi -roll fighter aircraft (MRFA) in its fleet besides the fifth generation aircraft. For this, Indian Air Force issued information (RFI) for the purchase of 114 fighter jets under the MRFA program in 2018. But this program is currently hanging in the balance.
