India overtaken world data consumption average user country wasting 32GB data every month

Nowadays everyone has a smartphone in their hands and everyone is busy on the Internet throughout the day. Sometimes social media, sometimes watching videos and sometimes playing games. But have you ever thought how much mobile data a common man in India spends every month? The answer to this question has recently been found in Ericsson Mobility Report, which surprised the entire country.

32GB data is being spent every month

According to the report, a smartphone user in India is using an average 32GB data every month. This figure shows how fast the use of internet in the country has increased. The interesting thing is that India has gone ahead in the world in this matter.

Double data will be spent in the coming years

If you are thinking that 32GB is very high, then wait! It has been said in the report that by 2030 this figure can increase to 62GB per month per month. Earlier this estimate was up to 66GB, but in the recent report, it has been reduced by 4%, making a slight change.

The growing speed of 5G became a big reason

The 5G network is spreading very fast in India. The report also estimated that by 2030, about 98 crore people in the country will use 5G, which is three times more than the existing 5G users. There are major reasons for this – Tej speed, cheap data plan and spreading the network to villages.

4G users will be less

While there is a tremendous rise in the number of 5G users on one side, the number of 4G users is also expected to decline by about 60%. That is, by 2030 only 23 crore people will use 4G.

Why is the consumption of data increasing?

  • Every work of smartphone is connected to the Internet
  • Watching videos on OTT platforms is common
  • The number of online games and apps has increased
  • Work from Home and Online Classes have increased data requirement
  • With the arrival of 5G, the Internet has become even faster, due to which high-quality videos, etc. are being played more.

It is clear that the demand for mobile data in India is increasing rapidly and in the coming years it will increase even more fast. Smartphones and internet today have become not only hobbies, but have become needed. In such a situation, it is absolutely natural to increase data expenses. Now it will have to be seen whether India remains number-1 in terms of mobile internet usage in the coming time or any other country goes ahead in this race.
