Special Task Force (STF) of BSF and Punjab Police achieved major success in a joint operation in village Dhalla Mallian under Ajnala area of ​​Amritsar district adjacent to India-Pakistan border. This operation was carried out on the basis of special intelligence.

According to information received from BSF, the arrested smuggler is a resident of Khemkaran, district Tarn Taran. Drug money as well as weapons have been recovered from his possession. As soon as the intelligence was received, BSF and STF made a plan and raided Dhalla Mallian village.

In the joint operation, drug money worth Rs 5 lakh, weapons including a .30 caliber pistol (Chinese made), magazine and three live rounds, besides three mobile phones and a bullet bike were seized from the accused.
