Now a few days are left in the launch of Apple iPhone 17 Series. This lineup will be launched in the event to be held on 9 September. Its prices have not been revealed yet, but Indian customers may have to pay more than before. The reason for this is the weak rupee against the dollar. It is being said in some reports that Indian customers may have to pay up to Rs 86,000 for the base model of iPhone 17.
Dollar and rupee game will spoil the game
On September 5, the rupee moved down 88.3 against the dollar. That is, one dollar became equal to 88.3 rupees. Usually the prices of the iPhone series depend on the exchange rate of the dollar. This time too, this is expected to happen, due to which Indian customers may have to pay more money. Although this time Apple is producing this series in India, but still Indian customers are finding it difficult to benefit from it. Teacharc chief analyst Faisal Kawoosa says that Apple will not import Complete Build Units this year, but many important parts of the phone will come from abroad. The rupee has fallen by about 5 percent against the dollar this year, so the launch price can cross 86,000.
This is the difference of exchange rate on the price of iPhone
The exchange rate of dollar-rupa makes a direct difference on the price of the iPhone. Initial generation iPhones were available for Rs 31,000, while 79,900 prices have been fixed for the base model of iPhone 16. At that time the price of one dollar was Rs 43.5, while the rupee fell to 83.7 at the time of launch of iPhone 16. Now there is a further decline in the rupee.
