Delhi Capitals were defeated by Mumbai Indians by 12 runs.
Delhi Capitals captain Akshar Patel has been fined 12 lakhs for a slowover rate. The penalty on him has been charged in a match played between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi on Sunday.
BCCI wrote in its statement that this was the first crime of his (Patel’s) team under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct. Hence Patel was fined Rs 12 lakh.
