1. PM laid the foundation stone of Ken-Betwa link project
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Ken-Betwa Link Project in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh today i.e. on 25th December. This is the country’s first river interlinking project. This scheme will solve the drinking water problem of the people of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Besides, there will be provision of water for irrigation also.
PM also inaugurated Omkareshwar Floating Solar Power Plant.
2. President Murmu will honor 17 children on ‘Veer Bal Diwas’
President Draupadi Murmu will honor 17 children with National Children’s Award on the occasion of Brave Children’s Day on 26th December. This will be the first time that ‘National Children’s Awards’ will be given on 26th December instead of Republic Day. Medals and certificates will be given to all the winners. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present in the Veer Bal Diwas programme.
This time 17 children from 14 states and union territories have been selected for this award. It includes 7 boys and 10 girls.

1. ITBP Head Constable, Constable Recruitment Applications Started
Applications for recruitment to the posts of Head Constable and Constable in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) have started. Candidates can apply online through the official website of ITBP recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.
Educational Qualification: Head Constable (Motor Machine):
- have passed 12th
- Three year diploma in motor machinery
Constable (Motor Machine):
- 10th pass from any board
- Industrial Training Certificate or
- Have three years trade experience
Age Limit:
- 18- 25 years
- Age relaxation will be given as per rules.
2. National Health System Resource Center has recruited many posts including specialists.
Health NHSRC i.e. National Health System Resource Center under the Ministry has released vacancies for different departments. In this, notification has been issued for other posts including Assistant Public Health Specialist. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website nhsrcindia.org. The last date to apply is 14 January 2025.
Educational Qualification:
Consultant Epidemiologist:
- MBBS (Medical Council of India)/ Diploma in Public Health
Research Assistant, Technical Officer:
- M.Sc. (Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biomedical Science) degree from a recognized institute or university.
Technical Assistant:
- B.Sc degree in Medical Lab Technology from a recognized institute or university.
Multipurpose Assistant:
- Graduation degree from a recognized institute or university
Food Microbiologist:
- Degree in Nutrition/Microbiology from a recognized institute or university.
Data Manager:
- Graduation degree in Computer from a recognized institute or university.
Assistant Public Health Specialist:
- MBBS/ Public Health Diploma
Salary:
- Rs 75,000-100000
- Salary will vary according to post.
Age Limit:
- 45-65 years
- Freshers can also apply for some posts.
- Different age will be applicable according to the post.

3. Physical test of UP police constable tomorrow
Document verification and physical test of Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment will start from tomorrow i.e. 26th December. 4292 candidates who have qualified the written exam will participate in it. To make this entire process transparent, CCTV cameras have been installed at the recruitment site. Also, two verification teams have been formed which will have to see that this process is completed in a correct and fair manner.
