Jagmohan Kang met with the Governor

Former Minister Jagmohan Singh Kang met Governor Gulab Chand Kataria here today and informed about various issues of Punjab. Mr. Kang said that the law and order situation in Punjab has become very bad. He also gave a demand letter to the Governor in this regard. He said that gangsters and mafia in the state are roaming fearlessly in the state. Apart from this, the government is taking more loans to pay the interest on the loan. He said that illegal mining business is going on in the state and mafia is usurping the resources of the state. The drug business is running rampant. He said that the ‘AAP’ government has not been able to make adequate planning before the paddy season, due to which the farmers had to rush to the markets to sell the crops. The former minister said that government employees and pensioners are agitating for the release of salary and pension arrears in addition to the outstanding DA installments and their arrears since January 1, 2016.

The government had promised to give the old pension scheme, it has not been implemented till date. He said that corruption in the offices is at its peak. The Governor assured to take appropriate action to resolve the related issues.
