At around 2 am in the night, two masked thieves stole cash from a house in Jagraon. During this time, the people living in the house were not even aware of the arrival of the thieves. This was revealed upon waking up in the morning. When I saw stuff scattered in the room. After which the police was informed.

The incident took place in Mohalla Rampura near the railway lines. Victim woman Balveer Kaur and son Ramdas told that at around 2 o’clock in the night, two thieves crossed the line and entered their street, after which one thief stood guard outside. While the second thief jumped over the wall and entered inside the house. During this time his entire family was sleeping.
The thieves fled from the house with about Rs 5,000 and a mobile phone. When he woke up in the morning, he could not see the mobile and the household items were scattered. After which when we checked the CCTV cameras installed around the house, it was found that two thieves had entered the street after crossing the Sherpura gate line with handkerchiefs tied on their faces.
