The accused has been identified as Nirmal Singh alias Nirmaljeet Singh alias Joni alias Arminder Singh alias Manav Jain alias Sukhwinder Singh alias Baljeet Singh, resident of street number 3, near Bajwa Kanda, New Shimlapuri, resident of village Tharike.

ASI Manohar Lal of Hathur police station said that Harinder Singh, resident of Bansat Avenue, Ludhiana, in the action complaint filed with the police, told that the accused of 64 Kanal land changed his name, made a fake Aadhar card and got a deed of contract prepared and obtained Rs 15 lakh from it. But when he asked the accused to get the land registered, the accused kept evading.
When the police investigated the case, it was found that the accused had prepared a fake agreement by applying a fake Aadhaar card. After which the police registered a case against the accused. The investigating officer said that at present the accused is absconding and raids are being conducted to arrest him.
