Today a speeding car hit a bike in Jagraon, due to which 3 people riding the bike were injured. According to the information, elderly woman Manjeet Kaur was coming on a date to Jagraon Court with her son Satwinder Singh and daughter-in-law Mandeep Kaur in the morning.

Then the accused, a resident of village Sindhwa Kala, hit him with a car from behind. After the accident, the injured were first brought to Civil Hospital Jagraon for treatment. Two people were sent to Ludhiana for CT scan due to severe head injuries. The injured said that if the police had taken action two days earlier, his family would not have been lying here in the hospital today.
SHO Sadar Surjit Singh said that he came to know about today’s incident. The place where the car was hit falls under City Police Station, due to which they have asked Chowki Bus Stand Incharge Sukhwinder Singh to take strict action.
