Gagan alias Gaggu, resident of Jagraon, works in a private company. Late on Sunday evening, Gagan was going for duty on his bike. When he reached Lappeshah Road, the helpless animals fighting among themselves on the road hit Gagan’s bike. Due to which the bike rider Ganan got seriously injured after falling from the bike. Local people took him to the hospital for treatment.
Let us tell you that the stray animals roaming in the roads and streets of Jagraon city have become a cause of great trouble to the people. Animals are preying on children playing outside their homes. Although many cow sheds have been built in the city, despite this the number of destitute animals in the city and villages is increasing instead of decreasing. Call it the negligence of the administration officials or the slow action due to which the officials are not ready to pay attention to it, the number of stray animals in the city is continuously increasing, due to which the problem of the city residents has increased further.
