DSP Nakodar giving information about the arrested accused.
Police have made a big revelation in the case of the blood soaked body of a 38 year old man found near village Mudda in Nakodar town of Jalandhar, Punjab. The deceased was murdered by his wife along with her lover. Both the accused were arrested by Jalandhar Dehat Police.

At the same time, the arrested accused have been identified as the deceased’s wife Neeru Bala resident of Tilak Nag and her lover Harpreet Singh alias Happy Somnath resident of Idgah Mohalla, Jalandhar. Both have been named in the murder case. Soon the police will present the accused in the court and interrogate them on remand.
SSP said- The team formed under the supervision of DSP Nakodar solved the case.
SSP Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh said- Police have recovered a sharp sword and two motorcycles used in the murder from the accused. One bike belonged to the deceased. On December 20, 2024, the body of deceased Mukesh Kumar, son of Satpal, was recovered from police station Nakodar Sadar area. The police of Sadar Nakodar police station took action and registered an FIR and started investigation.
Under the supervision of DSP Nakodar Sukhpal Singh, a special investigation team was formed under the leadership of SHO Sadar Nakodar SI Baljinder Singh. Using technical expertise and intelligence, the team identified and nabbed the accused within a few days.

SSP said – The accused used to work together in D Mart, they came into relationship from there.
SSP Khakh said- Preliminary investigation has revealed that Neeru Bala and Harpreet Singh used to work together in D-Mart located in Jalandhar. An illicit relationship had developed between the two during their employment. But Neeru was married. Due to which both of them made a plan that they will kill Mukesh and get married.
On the night of the crime, Harpreet Singh brutally murdered Mukesh Kumar with a sharp knife. Both the accused are currently in police custody and are being interrogated to gather additional information related to the case.

Father had said- Mukesh was missing since December 19
Deceased Mukul’s father Satpal had said in his statement to the police that his son was 38 years old and married. Last December 19 (Thursday), Mukul had gone to Nakodar on his bike to pay obeisance at some religious place. After which he did not return home. At first the family searched for Mukul at their own level. But nothing happened. Mukul’s phone was switched off.
After which a missing report was filed by the family in the case. After which it was revealed yesterday that Muckel’s body has been recovered in a potato field on Nakodar Jalandhar Highway. Looking at the dead body it was clear that Mukul had been hit on the head with a sharp weapon.
