Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh has today condemned the incident of desecration of the holy image of Sri Guru Granth Sahib at Gurdwara Baba Jeevan Singh Ji in village Muradpura, Patti Rampura population of Amritsar. In a statement issued by Sri Akal Takht Secretariat, Giani Raghbir Singh has ordered the secretary of Dharma Pracharak Committee of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee to investigate the incident of desecration at Gurdwara Baba Jeevan Singh ji of Patti Rampura village of village Muradpura for five days. The report should be sent to Sri Akal Takht Secretariat within He said that during the investigation, if the Gurdwara management is also found guilty, strict action will be taken against them as per tradition from Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
