In the countries with large areas, Vivo secured the first place by finishing 362.1 Mbps speed while Brazil’s Claro and TIM also joined the top list. At the same time, South Korea’s Katie won with an average speed of 470.7 Mbps in small areas.
OpenSignal brings out the world’s mobile network companies every year through these awards that provide the fastest, reliable and better 5G services. For 2025, the company collected data from the phone of users billions of times from January to June and announced the winners on the same basis.
In the report, Poland and Netherlands were also shown as fast moving countries in 5G speed. In Poland, T-Mobile, Orange and Play won the 5G Global Rising Star title with an increase of 140.7 Mbps compared to last year. In the Netherlands, Odido registered a growth of 151.1 Mbps in small areas countries and secured first place.
Interesting results also came out in terms of 5G coverage. In large areas, T-Mobile of America got the first place with 8.1 score and gave the most coverage in America. In small areas, Singatel of Singapore took the lead with a score of 9.1. Companies like Singapore’s M1, Simba and Starhb were also included in this list.
Talking about gaming and video experience, Japan’s Ou and Singapore of Singapore topped. Ou got the first place in the big area with 91.9 scores, while Singtel won the small areas with 92.9 scores. In the case of video experience, Romania’s DIGI, Finland’s DNA, Sweden’s Talenor and Tele 2, Canada’s Rogers and Japan’s Ou top. Among the countries with small areas, Singapore’s M1 and Starhub, HT of Croatia and Salt of Switzerland also performed brilliantly.
The awards of this time have made it clear that the big companies of India are still behind in the 5G services race, while many countries in Brazil, South Korea and Europe are leading the world in this technology.
