Army jawan injured after terrorists open fire in Tral area of Awantipora: An Army jawan was injured in firing by terrorists in Tral area of Awantipora here. This young man had returned home on leave. He was shot in the leg and was immediately taken to the hospital. Sources said that his condition is stable and security forces have cordoned off the area. More details in this regard are awaited.
The police officer said that earlier on Tuesday, a terrorist was killed during an encounter with the security forces in Srinagar’s Dachigam forest area and the encounter is ongoing. After receiving intelligence information about the terrorists, the encounter began on December 2. ANI
