Let us tell you that Shiv Kumar, resident of village Bhetan, had told the police that he works as a customer relationship officer in Ujjivan Small Finance Bank. On December 20, around 5:30 pm, he was collecting bank installments while riding a bike in his area. When he started coming out of village Aujla Banwali, there were two youths standing on a Pulsar bike without number on the school side outside the village.

Who had covered their faces with cloth. The said youth put their bike behind his bike and tried to snatch the bag of money kept in front of the bike when he came a little ahead of the village. I drove the bike towards village Dhaliwal. The robbers also came after me. A little behind the village Dhaliwal, the young man sitting behind the Pulsar bike stepped on my bike, due to which he along with the bike fell on the unpaved place. After which the robbers snatched his bag and ran away. An amount of Rs 2 lakh 30 thousand 173, a mobile tab, finger machine, bank receipt book and motorcycle documents were present in the bag. On the statement of Shiv Kumar, police registered a case against unknown robbers under various sections of BNS at Sadar police station.
Rs 1.90 lakh recovered
DSP Parminder Singh said that in the investigation of the case, the needle of suspicion rested on Shivkumar. When he was strictly interrogated, he confessed that he had dishonestly used the Rs 2.30 thousand collected from the loan sharks to repay his loan of Rs 1.5 lakh.
Rs 1 lakh 90 thousand, mobile and finger machine have also been recovered from the said accused. A case has been registered against the accused under sections of BSN and he has been arrested. Accused Shivkumar has been produced in the court and sent to jail.
