Injured delivery boy admitted to Kapurthala government hospital
Late night in Kapurthala, near the SSP residence, unknown miscreants attacked a delivery boy with sharp weapons and seriously injured him and fled after looting mobile phone and Rs 3200. The said delivery boy was returning after delivering food to RCF.

At the time of the incident, when the delivery boy raised an alarm, nearby people gathered and the robbers fled from the spot. With the help of people, the injured were admitted to the civil hospital for treatment. The youth has been identified as Jaskaran Singh, resident of village Dhaliwal.
Injured youth giving information about the incident
Jaskaran Singh told that, he was returning after delivering food from RCF late at night. When he reached near the SSP residence on College Road, some youths surrounded him and attacked him with sharp weapons and injured him. The accused fled away after robbing him of Rs 3200 from the day’s collection and his mobile phone.
After receiving information about the incident, the team of City Police Station-2 reached the spot and started investigation. SHO Manjeet Singh said that at present an FIR has been registered against the unknown. CCTV cameras installed nearby are being checked.
