New Delhi: Punjabi singer Karan Aujla is famous for singing popular track like ‘Tauba Tauba’. He left Canada in 2023 and settled in Dubai, so that he could get a safe environment. Now, the singer told one thing that his heart is still in Punjab and he does not consider Canada or Dubai his real home. Karan Aujla said, ‘I would like to live here, especially in my village. Even if it is away from everywhere, I will travel. But the current situation is not the same as I want. Hopefully I will be able to do this in future.

‘The Hollywood Reporter India’ asked Karan Aujla why he needed heavy security, so he said, ‘I have really suffered a lot. I have been targeted. I have seen bullets passing through my windows. It is not a matter of showing this weapon. We do not want to take any risk. A lot has happened before. People are actually dead. So this is not a joke. I am trying not to bother all this happy life. I would like to be careful.

Karan Aujla came into controversy over his new song ‘MF Gabru’ in recent. The Punjab State Women’s Commission issued a notice taking cognizance of the matter, stating that the lyrics of the song are derogatory and promote hatred towards women. According to ANI, Chairman Raj Lali Gill said, ‘Everyone listened to the song and objected, but still it gets millions of views. It is not just the responsibility of the Women’s Commission to notice it; Listeners and society also reject such language.

Karan Aujla’s new album released
The Punjabi singer was ordered to appear before the commission related to the case on Monday 11 August, but he failed to do so. The Commission also directed Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) to start an investigation through a senior officer and show the report. Karan Aujla released his new album ‘Pop Pop Culture’ on 22 August. He had revealed the names of all 11 tracks of his new project a few days ago, including MF Gabru. Punjabi rapper and singer released pre-relief single on 1 August.
