Karishma Kapoor’s children filed a petition in Delhi High Court in Sanjay Kapoor’s property dispute

Delhi: A big controversy has arisen in the Delhi High Court over the property of late industrialist and gold comstar chairman Sanjay Kapoor. This matter is now in discussions because Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor’s children- Adhara and Kian have knocked on the door of the court. Both children have demanded from the court that they got equal share in their father’s assets of about Rs 30,000 crore. But the matter is not so easy. The children allege that their step mother Priya Kapoor has tried to capture the entire property by manipulating the will.

Law experts say that it is a very difficult task to challenge the will in the court. According to Advocate Sisba Chawla, Karisma Kapoor wants her children to be safe and have proper care. But once the will is ready, it is not easy to prove it wrong.

Legal challenge not easy

Speaking to Local 18, Sisba Chawla said, ‘The will is considered a strong legal document in itself. The challenger has to prove that the signs are fake, paper is made by deception or the role of witnesses is suspicious. It is almost impossible to declare the will in the court without concrete evidence. According to Sisba, Karisma Kapoor’s children say that her father used to share every important thing with her. If he had made a will, he would have told. Now this matter is completely in the hands of the court. In the coming time, it will be decided who is entitled to such a big property.

Sanjay Kapoor died in June 2025. At the time of his death, he was married to his third wife Priya Kapoor, from whom he also has a son. Earlier, Sanjay was married to Karishma Kapoor, from whom his two children are Adhara and Qian.

Children’s charge

Karishma Kapoor’s children allege that her step mother Priya Kapoor has tried to capture the entire property by manipulating her father’s will. He says that Priya, along with her colleagues Dinesh Aggarwal and Nitin Sharma, hidden the will for seven weeks and presented it in the family meeting on 30 July 2025.

Fake prepared…
Children allege that this will is not real, but has been prepared in a fake way. He said that he was neither shown the real copy of the will nor was given any copy of it. Initially Priya claimed that there is no will and all the property of Sanjay Kapoor is under RK Family Trust. But later he introduced the will of March 21, 2025 and described it as real. From this, the children suspected that there is a mess in the will.
