New Delhi, January 1
AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, claiming that the names of Purvanchali and Dalit voters were deleted from the voter lists and the alleged distribution of money to the BJP before the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. On the other hand, the BJP countered and said that Kejriwal’s letter to Bhagwat shows the ‘political despair’ and ‘fear of losing the elections’ of the ‘AAP’ supremo.
It is significant that Kejriwal in the letter sought clarification from Bhagwat about reports of RSS campaigning in Delhi elections. Kejriwal said in the letter, “There are media reports that RSS will campaign to get votes for BJP in Delhi elections. Is it true? Before that, the people of Delhi want to know whether the RSS supports the wrongdoings done by the BJP. This is the second letter written by Kejriwal to the RSS chief in recent months. In the previous letter written in the month of September, the former Chief Minister of Delhi had raised questions about the politics being done by the party by targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.
On the other hand, Delhi BJP president Virender Sachdeva has retaliated by writing a letter to the ‘AAP’ supremo. Sachdeva said that Kejriwal is “acting because the people of Delhi are demanding answers about his lies, opportunism and failure to fulfill their hopes for development and major reforms.” -News-Patiala
