Kerala nurse Nimisha Priya’s postponed hanging, Yemen jail has been lodged since 2017, know which rules can be forgiven


Important news has come out from Yemen about Kerala’s nurse Nimisha Priya. According to the News-Patiala report, the hanging of Nimisha has been postponed at present. He was to be hanged on 16 July. The Government of India was trying hard for this case, finally the sentence was postponed. A Yemen court had heard Nimisha Priya decorated in the murder case. He has been in Yemen jail since 2017.

Nimisha Priya was accused of killing Yemen citizen Talal Abdo Mahdi. She was also found guilty in this case. It was alleged that he injected unconscious to get his passport deposited with Mahdi and died due to the overdose of medicine.

Nimisha Priya got punishment under which law

Sharia law runs in Yemen. Therefore, Nimisha was also sentenced to death under this law. There is also a provision of apology in this law. There is a practice called blood money, under which the convict of murder can be forgiven, but for this, he has to pay a hefty amount to the family of the deceased as compensation. Nimisha can also be left under this law, but no official information has been received about it.

Nimisha got trapped in Yemen after her husband and daughter return to India

In fact, Nimisha, a resident of Palakkad in Kerala, went to Yemen with her husband and daughter almost two decades ago. She was working here. Due to the civil war in Yemen, there was a ban on going out of the country in 2016, but before that her husband and daughter returned to India in 2014. Nimisha could not return. After this, he was accused of murder in 2017.
