Chandrakant Pandit gave coaching to the Kolkata team for 3 seasons.
The IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have separated the roads from their head coach Chandrakant Pandit after three seasons.
Chandrakant was associated with KKR in August 2022. He replaced Brendon McCallum, who became the coach of the England Test team. During the tenure of Chandrakant Pandit, KKR won the IPL Trophy under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer in 2024. Which was the team’s first title win after 10 years.

Pandit got 22 wins in coaching
In Chandrakant Pandit’s coaching, KKR won 22 out of a total of 42 matches in 3 seasons, 18 and 2 matches were inconclusive. However, in the 2025 season, the team’s performance was weak and KKR finished eighth in 14 matches with just 5 wins. At present, KKR has not announced the name of the new head coach.
