The Kadi police have registered a case in the case of shooting and seriously injuring two persons on the day of Lohri in Kot Todar Mall, a village near Kadi.
Giving information in this regard, SHO Parminder Singh Sidhu of Kadi police station said that a case has been registered on the complaint of Sarabjit Kaur, wife of Mukhtiar Singh, resident of village Kot Todar Mall.
In this case, a case has been registered against Lovepreet Singh alias Happy son of Mangal Singh resident of Kot Todar Mall, Sukha son of Jaswant Singh alias Kala resident of Kot Todar Mall and 5/6 unidentified persons. He said that the alleged accused Lovepreet Singh alias Happy had a quarrel with Ravinder Singh who was seriously injured in this shooting incident about a year ago and the accused had also apologized in the panchayat. In the midst of this, Lovepreet Singh alias Happy seriously injured Ravinder Singh and his father in a murderous attack.
The SHO said that the accused will be arrested soon. He said that the police will deal strictly with those who do criminal activities. Social elements will not be spared. The accused in the shooting incident will be in police custody soon.
