Kurukshetra: 40 nominations filed from five wards

Saturday was the last day to file nomination papers for Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee elections. Accordingly, a total of 40 nomination papers have been filed for 5 wards of Kurukshetra district. Among them, 5 nomination papers have been filed from Ward-11 Pihowa, 9 from Ward-12 Murtajapur, 10 from Ward-13 Shahabad, 10 from Ward-14 Ladwa and 6 from Ward-15 Thanesar. The nomination papers will be sorted on December 30. It should be said that the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee elections are to be held on January 19. Ward 11 Kuldeep Singh of village Juna Saida of Pihowa, Manjit Kaur of village Juna Saida, Satpal Singh of Guru Amardas Colony, Harbans Singh of Jurasi Khurd, Puran Singh of Jurasi Khurd have filled their nomination papers. In ward-12 Murtajapur, Inderjit Singh from Chanalheri, Amrik Kaur from Chanalheri, Amritpal from Bhor Saida, Karamjit Kaur from Bhor Saida, Manpreet Singh from village Talheri, Ripudhavan Singh Cheema from village Gumthala Gaddu, Jawahar Singh from village Nancy, village Dunya Majra. Papers submitted by seven candidates from Faridabad Constituency

Faridabad (Pattar Prerak): Seven candidates from Faridabad constituency have filed their papers for Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee elections. There are about five thousand votes of Sikhs. Sukhdev Singh Khalsa, a resident of Jawahar Colony, while addressing the gathering after submitting the papers, said that the promotion and spread of Sikhism will be his priority. Industrialist Mohan Singh went to the election officer along with the dignitaries of his area and filled the forms. Other candidates include Gurprasad Singh, Sunny, SS Banga, Ravinder Singh Rana and Kesar Singh. Mohan Singh said that this election campaign will be kept away from bitterness and mutual brotherhood will be maintained.

Guhla Chika (Ram Kumar Mittal): Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Preeti said that in view of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee elections, nominations were filed in Ward No. 20 Guhla, Ward No. 21 Kangthali, Ward No. 22 Kaithal. Scrutiny of nominations will be held on December 30. The Deputy Commissioner said that a total of 7 nominations were filed in Ward No. 20 Guhla, including Khazan Singh, Sukhchain Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Major Singh, Balwant Singh, Balwinder Singh, Satnam Singh.
