Bharti Kisan Mazdoor Union today locked the gates of the Reliance Biogas plant under construction in village Baga Kalan of Ladowal police station.
On this occasion, the spokespersons of Sangharsh Committee Baga Kala said that this factory, which has become a threat to people’s lives and health, will not be allowed to run at any cost.

On this occasion, President of Bharatiya Kisan Mazdoor Union Dilbagh Singh Gill and President of Bharatiya Kisan Mazdoor Union Inderveer Singh Kadien said that hundreds of farmers and laborers under their leadership gave an ultimatum to the Deputy Commissioner on January 9 by giving a demand letter that if the administration If no action is taken to close it, they will close its gate on January 19. He said that a meeting has been held with the administration again today in this regard, but due to no consensus being reached in the meeting, this biogas plant has been locked and closed.
He said that a 20-member high-level committee has been formed to prepare the next strategy in this regard. After the lockdown today, a large number of police officers and employees including Deputy Commissioner of Police Shubham Agarwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ramandeep Singh Bhullar and Amandeep Singh Brar were stationed at the spot.
