MacBook Pro: Apple may soon launch its new Macbook Pro models, which will be equipped with the next generation M5 chip. According to reports, the mass production of the M5 chip has begun, and the South Korean media claims that these devices may come to the market by the end of 2025. However, the Macbook Air M5 model may have to wait a little longer. Know here every information related to this.
Build and Technology of M5 Chip
According to an leaked report by ET NEWS, Apple started the packaging process of the M5 chip last month, indicating that the company has reached the final stages of production. Packaging after chip construction is one of the final stages. Taiwan’s ASE Group has started production of the base model of M5 on a large scale. Other companies such as Amkor and China’s JCET may also be involved in this process soon.
3nm technology and m5 chip upgrade
The M5 chip is being made with a 3-nanometer technology of TSMC, which will be more powerful and energy efficient than earlier chips. However, Apple has currently abandoned 2Nm technology, possibly due to its high cost. Advanced design techniques will be used for better performance in Pro, Max and Ultra variants of M5 chip. The 3D chip -stacking technique will improve the apple thermal management with System on Integrated Chip and reduce power leakage. This new technology will improve battery life and overall performance.
Which devices will be first found in M5 chip?
Interestingly, before Macbook, the M5 chip can be first seen in the iPad Pro, which can be launched in the end of 2025 or in the beginning of 2026.
MacBook Pro M5: Hope to launch by the end of 2025.
MacBook Air M5: May come in early 2026.
Apple Vision Pro (upgraded version): The possibility of launching in 2026 with M5 chip.
Apple’s official confirmation remains
At the moment, Apple has not made any official announcement of these upgrade. But after large -scale production starts, it indicates that Apple is soon ready to introduce the next generation MAC device with the M5 chip.
