Prime Minister Narendra Modi today termed the upcoming ‘Maha Kumbh’ as the ‘Maha Kumbh of Unity’ and appealed to the people to return from this huge religious gathering with a pledge to end hatred and divisions in the society. Speaking on his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Mr Modi said, “Maha Kumbh Ka Sandesh, Ek Ho Purna Desh.” Referring to the Maha Kumbh, which begins on January 13 in Prayagraj, the Prime Minister said that ‘Unity in diversity. ‘ There can be no greater example than this. He said that the specialty of Mahakumbha is not reflected in its size but also in its various beauty. A huge religious event like Mahakumbha happens once in 12 years. Mr. Modi said that the next Republic Day will be the 75th anniversary of the implementation of the Constitution of the country, which is a matter of pride for the countrymen. He emphasized that the Constitution has stood the test of time. He said, “This is our path.” The Prime Minister said that he has reached this point in his life only because of the constitution. He said that a website called ‘Constitution75.com’ has been started to connect people with the provisions and sentiments of the Constitution. -News-Patiala
