Under the leadership of District and Sessions Judge HS Grewal and Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Madam Rajwinder Kaur, National Lok Adalat was established in District Court Complex Mansa, Sub-Divisional Court Complex Sardulgarh and Budhalada. Therefore, benches were formed in District Court Complex Mansa, Budhlada and Sardulgarh. On this occasion, a total of 4603 cases were settled and awards of Rs. 10,31,58,795 were passed. Judge HS Grewal said that civil cases, criminal compoundable, check cases, bank recovery cases, MACT cases, wage disputes, electricity, water, telephone and marriage related cases were settled through mutual agreement in this Lok Adalat. He said that the beneficiaries have shown good interest in this National Lok Adalat. Secretary Rajwinder Kaur said that in Mansa, Additional Sessions Judge Gurmohan Singh, Additional Sessions Judge Ravi Inder Singh, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Pushpinder Singh, Chief Judicial Magistrate Gurjit Kaur Dhillon, Judicial Magistrate First Class Ravneet Singh, Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) at Budhlada. ) Manu Mittu and Additional Civil Judge at Sardulgarh (Sr Division) 4603 cases were disposed by the benches of Harpreet Kaur Nafra.
Sirsa (Prabhu Dayal): According to the instructions of Haryana State Legal Services Authority, Rashtriya Lok Adalat was set up today in Court Complex Sirsa, Sub Divisional Court Complex Dabwali and Ellenabad in which 22 thousand 339 cases were settled.
9915 cases settled in Ferozepur Lok Adalat
Ferozepur (Sanjeev Handa): A total of 20,222 cases were brought in the National Lok Adalat in different courts of Ferozepur district, out of which 9,915 cases were settled and awards of Rs. 27,43,79,541 were passed. This information was given by District and Sessions Judge Mr. Veerinder Agarwal and CJM Madam Anuradha. He said that 18 benches were made for the National Lok Adalat in the district courts. Cases decided in Lok Adalat are recognized by decree and there is no appeal.
