Dirba Mandi (Ranjit Singh Sheetal):
Bharti Kisan Union Ekta (Sidhupur)’s call for a Punjab bandh today received a massive response in Dirba, Soolar Gharat and the area and the markets remained completely closed. Leader Kewal Singh Jawandha addressed the protest given by Sidhupur on Delhi-Ludhiana National Highway at Sular Gharat. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta (Azad) also staged a dharna on the national highway in Dirba from morning till four o’clock and blocked the traffic. Senior farmer leader Dilbagh Singh Harigarh addressed this protest.
