The meeting of the three sub-committees of the Punjabi Sahitya Akademi was held today by the General Secretary of the Academy. It was held here at Punjabi Bhavan under the chairmanship of Gulzar Singh Pandher. In this meeting, the dates of various programs to be conducted in the coming days were announced. General Secretary of the Academy Dr. Pandher said that a mini story event is being organized here on December 22, the convener of which will be Surinder Kaile. Similarly, a meeting of the song workshop committee of the academy was held in which it was decided that a song workshop will be held on January 12, 2025. Punjabi Mother Language Mela is celebrated by Akademi every year dedicated to the International Mother Language Day.
In the meeting held regarding the celebration of Mother Language Day, it was unanimously passed that Punjabi Mother Language Fair will be celebrated in Punjabi Bhawan on February 1 next year. It was decided that the Punjabi Mother Language Fair should be started by taking an oath from the students of the college regarding the Punjabi mother tongue. Dr. in the committee. In the Natak Mela Committee meeting, it was decided that the three-day event on World Theater Day will be held from March 23 to March 27, 2025 at the Balraj Sahni Open Auditorium here. General Secretary of the Academy Dr. Gulzar Singh Pandher invited all Punjabi lovers to attend this event.
