MLA from Central Vidhan Sabha Constituency Dr. Ajay Gupta today held a meeting with the newly appointed councilor Jarnail Singh Dhot, Vicky Dutta, volunteers of the wards of the constituency, municipal officials. MLA Gupta said that neglect in development works will not be tolerated in any ward of the Central Assembly Constituency. He said that especially big development projects and other development works should be completed in time. All work orders issued for road construction and patch work should be completed as soon as possible before closing the premix plant. The MLA said that a work order to de-silt the sewage at a cost of Rs 50 lakh has been issued several days ago to fix the blocked sewage system in the central assembly constituency. In all the wards of the Central Legislative Assembly Constituency, where the sewage system is not working properly, cleaning of the pollution should be started with immediate effect. He said that the newly elected councilors and volunteers of the ward will release its schedule today. He said that especially in the areas of Walled City where more lights are to be installed, they should be installed with immediate effect. He said that whenever any complaint comes from the volunteers of the central assembly constituency, it should be resolved immediately. He said that departmental action will be taken against officials who are negligent in work.
