“The anti-people policies of the Modi government at the center have become a great threat to the unity and integrity of the country.” This was expressed by Comrade Mangat Ram Pasla, National General Secretary of the Revolutionary Communist Party of India (RMPI) while addressing the conference. He said that the BJP government is spreading communalism in the country by fighting people on the basis of caste and religion. Muslims, Christians and Dalits are being oppressed by considering them as second-class citizens. Corporate houses are being benefited by implementing neoliberal policies. Those who criticize the government are being locked up in jails. He called upon the workers to unite and struggle against the communal fascist agenda of the BJP government and urged them to attend the state rally being held by the party in Chandigarh on February 28 along with their families. The state president of Dihati Mazdoor Sabha Darshan Nahar and the state leader of Jamhuri Kisan Sabha Manohar Singh Gill invited the farmers and laborers to mobilize and struggle for their rights.
