A brother murdered his sister late at night in Moga. The brothers and sisters, residents of Fatehgarh Korotana, had gone to their maternal grandfather’s house to visit the groom. The 20-year-old girl’s brother was suspicious of his sister’s character and killed her by hitting her with a baseball.

Police of Bagha Purana and Samalsar police station reached the spot, took possession of the body and started further action. The police arrested the accused brother. The maternal grandmother of deceased Veerpal Kaur said that there was immense love between the two brothers and sisters. Don’t know what happened, he closed the door and started beating his sister, due to which she died.
Investigating officer Janak Raj said that we had received information that a girl had been murdered in village Vero. We have reached the spot and the body has been taken into custody. The same accused has also been arrested. The accused used to doubt the character of his sister Veer Jot. Further questioning will be done.
