In Mohali, police have arrested an accused related to Lawrence Bishnoi. State Special Operating Cell (SOC) Mohali has arrested Rajat Saharan, an accused associated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi gang. A 32 bore pistol and a country made pistol were recovered from the accused.3

Rajat Saharan, son of Rohtash Singh and resident of village Ramgarh, police station Kalayar, district Kaithal, Haryana, was an illegal supply of arms and was working to deliver arms to other members of Lawrence gang in Punjab.
Police interrogation revealed that Rajat Saharan was smuggling illegal weapons to various places in Punjab and these weapons were to be used to commit crimes in Punjab. Police have also revealed that the accused was working on the instructions of Lawrence Gang and was currently smuggling weapons through Zirakpur-Ambala Highway.
SOC has registered an FIR after recovering weapons from the accused, in which action has been taken under Section 25(1)(B) and 61(2) of the Arms Act. The police is now investigating who were the targets of the accused in Punjab and in which incidents these weapons were going to be used.
