Know the five guarantees of AAP

  • 100 electric buses will be run. These charging stations and depots will be built. Amritsar will be given the tag of Green and Clean City.
  • Parking will be built on 5 acres of land of Jahaz Garh. Two more stories will be built on the parking lot of Saragarhi.
  • A new system will be prepared for sewerage drainage at a cost of Rs 100 crore. New pipelines will be laid. Work on Tung Dhab Drain is being done on a 360 degree plan. CTP, ETP should be installed so that dirty water does not enter it and it is treated first. Initial work on this has started.
  • Surface water will be provided to the entire population of Amritsar. All this water will be produced by taking water from Upper UBDC. So that ground water can be replenished. And ground water can be managed.
  • Work will be done to expand Amritsar. Ward closure will be extended. Residential houses will be built for poor people at low rates. The biggest start here will be from Amritsar.
