- Navy’s Yashasvi Solanki Became The First Woman ADC Of The President

Yashasvi Solanki, the Lieutenant Commander of the Indian Navy, has been appointed as the President’s Ed-D-Camp (ADC). The President is the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. This is the first time a woman officer of the Navy has been given the post of Ed-D-Camp of the Supreme Commander.
The President is given 5 ADCs. Of these, 3 are from Army, 1 Air Force and 1 Navy. For this, the President himself selects officers.
He is a resident of Haryana
Yashasvi Solanki hails from Haryana. In 2012, he joined the Logistics Branch of the Navy under the Short Service Commission. After this, after serving for 5 to 7 years here, he has now been made the President’s ADC.
According to Navy officials, Yashaswi’s discipline, hard work and leadership quality has brought him to this place. Now she has been appointed as the President’s ADC. She is the first woman to do so.
Governor, Army Commander’s ADC has been women
In the year 2023, Squadron Leader Manisha Padhi was made ADC of Mizoram Chief Minister Haribabu Kambhambati. She was the first woman to become the Governor’s Adc. Manisha is an officer of the 2015 batch Indian Air Force.
Earlier in 2019, Lieutenant Ghani Lalji was made the Army Commander’s ADC. She was the first woman to become the Army Commander’s ADC. Lalji was admitted to the Corps of Military Intelligence in 2011.
