On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas today, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini invited people to take inspiration from the sacrifices made by the Sahibzades of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and appealed to the parents to instill courage and sacrifice in their children. On this occasion, the Chief Minister appealed to all the religious gurus and social organizations to unite against the social evil like drug addiction and to eradicate this evil from the roots so that the youth power can be saved. The Chief Minister was addressing the congregation at the state level Children’s Day program organized in Kurukshetra today.

Before this, he paid obeisance at the historic Gurdwara Sixth Patshah. He inaugurated the exhibition organized by the Information Public Relations and Language Department. Safar-e-Shahadat booklet dedicated to the supreme sacrifice of Chhota Sahibzades was released in the Kurukshetra University Auditorium. He said that the entire family members of Guru Gobind Singh ji sacrificed their lives for the protection of religion and people during a week. His martyrdom is the greatest martyrdom in the world. He said that Sikhs are a great nation. On this occasion, former Minister of State Subhash Sudha, Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Bhupinder Singh Asandh, Bibi Ravinder Kaur, Deputy Commissioner Neha Singh, Police Captain Varun Singla, Sikh leader Gulab Singh, Kanwaljit Singh Ajrana, Dharmbir Mirjapur, BJP leader Jai Bhagwan Sharma. , Mandeep Singh Virak, Harpal Singh Cheika, Rajwant Kaur were present.

‘Sikh Gurus’ deep connection with the land of Haryana’

Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that Sikhism has given the country 10 Gurus, who have a deep connection with the land of Haryana. Saini said that 70 kanals of land has been given to Gurdwara Chilla Sahib in Sirsa. The medical college to be built in Yamunanagar has been named after Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib, the man of India. Similarly, the college in Asandh is named after Baba Fateh Singh. LDA College has also been established in the name of Mata Gujri in Lucknow Sahib. It has been decided to change the name of Panchkula to Pounta Sahib Marg as Guru Gobind Singh Marg. Along with this, at many places, squares, main doors, libraries, roads etc. have been named after the Gurus. Lohgarh Bhagwan Pura is being developed as a tourist hub. Baba Banda Singh Trust has been formed in Lohgarh, considering the faith of the people, Swaran Jayanti Guru Darshan Yatra has been started to provide financial help to pilgrims going to Hazur Sahib, Nankana Sahib, Patna Sahib.
