NEET-PG exam: Hearing adjourned in SC till December 10: The Supreme Court today adjourned the hearing on a petition challenging the lack of transparency in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) examination. Now this hearing will be held on December 10. A bench of justices BR Gavai and KV Viswanathan said that they could not hear the matter due to lack of time. According to the website of the Supreme Court, the matter will now be heard on December 10.

In a petition filed in the Supreme Court, the NEET PG candidates had claimed that just three days before the exam, there was a change in the exam pattern which affected the performance of the students. The petition stated that there was a lack of transparency in the conduct of the examination. Earlier, the Supreme Court had said that it will hear the petitions seeking disclosure of answer keys, question papers of NEET-PG 2024 conducted on August 11 to ensure transparency in this examination. Lawyer Tanvi Dubey had said that no information memorandum was published in this regard, nor was there any standard operating procedure on how to conduct the examinations. He had said that the students were confused about the counseling process.
