UPPSC Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has declared the exam date of RO/ ARO i.e. Review Officer/ Assistant Review Officer Prelims 2023.
This exam will be held on 27 July 2025 and will be conducted in a single shift. The exam will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Candidates can check notice on the commission’s official website uppsc.up.nic.in.
In the year 2024, the examination was canceled due to paper leak
The RO/ARO Prelims Examination was conducted on 11 February 2024. In the evening of the exam, news of paper leaks started coming on social media. Candidates staged protests against it and said the paper has been leaked and the examination should be canceled. After this, the demand for the examination arose again and it was decided to get the Special Task Force (STF) investigated.
10.76 lakh applications for 411 posts
10,76,004 candidates have applied for 411 posts of RO/ARO. The first prelims examination was conducted on 11 February 2024, but the examination was canceled following allegations of paper leaks. Subsequently, the examination was scheduled for December 2024. But this time too, due to protests, the Commission had to withdraw the date of the examination. Now the Commission has decided to organize the examination process and organize it in one day and in the same shift.
The commission withdrew the decision of the exam in two shifts
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Office (UPPSC) had withdrawn the decision to get the UPPCS exam done in two shifts. In Prayagraj, 20 thousand students had been standing in front of the commission’s gate for 4 days, after which the commission had decided.
The Commission said that PCS exam will be held in a shift, committee will be formed on RO/ARO
On the fourth day of the students’ performance, the commission secretary Ashok Kumar came out of the office at around 4 pm on Thursday. He said, ‘UPPSC will conduct prelims exam in one day. The Commission will form a committee for RO/ARO Exam -2023. This committee will consider all aspects and present its detailed report.
The PCS exam was to be held on 7 and 8 December, while the RO/ARO exam was proposed to be held on 22 and 23 December.
