New Delhi, December 11
The Central Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at nine places in Punjab and Haryana on Wednesday in view of the ongoing investigation into the gangster-terrorist nexus case. After receiving a tip-off against the suspects involved in this case, raids are underway at eight locations in Punjab and one in Haryana since early Wednesday.
The raids are reportedly aimed at cracking down on individuals and networks suspected of facilitating criminal activities linked to terrorist organisations.
Last month, the agency, in a major crackdown on the terrorist-gangster nexus case, also carried out extensive searches at nine locations in Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh at locations linked to associates of the Davinder Bambiha syndicate.
The NIA investigation of the case registered on the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs reveals that these organizations and terrorists are making large-scale efforts to raise funds to carry out terrorist activities on Indian soil. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
