NIA searches: Arash Dalla’s accomplices were raided by NIA


New Delhi, December 11

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) today raided locations in Punjab and Haryana related to the alleged operatives of the banned Khalistan Terrorist Force (KTF) and associates of Canada-based Arsh Dalla.

NIA officials conducted operations at Bathinda, Muktsar Sahib, Moga, Ferozepur, Sangrur and Mansa in Punjab, while in Haryana’s Sirsa, the locations of accused Baljit Maur, Dalla and KTF-related gangs. Baljit Maur is currently in jail. Meanwhile, they have seized mobiles, digital devices and criminal documents, which are being investigated.

The NIA said, ‘Investigations so far have revealed attempts by foreign-based prime accused and handlers of terrorist organizations to recruit cadres to carry out terrorist activities in India.’

The agency said that a case was registered in this regard earlier this year by the NIA on the directives of the Union Home Ministry. According to the investigating agency, ‘NIA is investigating various terrorist organizations involved in criminal conspiracy to carry out criminal acts of terrorism, collection of funds through extortion, provision of arms in India for acts of terror and trafficking of such illegal arms and ammunition. is doing -News-Patiala
