Obstacles in Parliament over wealth tycoons and jobbers frustrating: Sadguru

New Delhi, December 12

Jaggi Vasudev, founder of Isha Foundation, on Thursday expressed his frustration over repeated obstructions in the ongoing session of Parliament, especially in matters related to privately owned businesses and groups. “It is disappointing to see the disruption in Parliament, especially when we aspire to be a symbol of democracy to the world,” the spiritual guru said. They should not become the subject of political rhetoric.” The spiritual guru further suggested that if there are differences, they should be settled within the ambit of law and should not become a political football.

Coimbatore-based Sadhguru commented that Indian business should grow for India to become a future India. Sadhguru’s comments came during the ongoing winter session of Parliament, which is set to end on December 20 but faces repeated adjournments on one issue or the other.

The Congress-led opposition is targeting the government for favoring certain business houses while NDA leaders are attacking the India Alliance for corruption.

A day earlier, India Alliance MPs had moved a no-confidence motion against Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, accusing him of biased behavior and acting as a spokesperson for the government. IANS
