The film was to be released on 28 July 2025, but after the controversy, due to legal obstacles, it was not being released on time. A section had filed a petition to stop the release, objecting to the content of the film, but the Supreme Court refused to upheld the film at the hearing on Friday 25 July. However, the film’s producer Amit Jani is under target of fundamentalists amid controversy. Sensing the danger, the central government has given them the protection of the Y-category, although the jihadis are constantly targeting them.

Amit Jani said in a special conversation with News-Patiala Hindi, ‘People who have been making Udaipur files have hacked and blown my account. Jihadis repeatedly reported the Instagram account, due to which my account is being closed again and again. The producer asked people to follow their new account.
