At which location will the office in Delhi be opened, information about this has not been revealed yet. However, Openai has established itself as a legal entity in India and has started hiring a dedicated local team. This team will strengthen the relationship with local partners, governments, businesses, developers and academic institutions.

The company said that India is one of the second largest market and fastest growing markets after America in terms of users. In the last one year, the number of weekly active users of ChatjPT in India has increased more than four times.
Not only this, India is one of the top-5 markets of Openai Developer. At the same time, India has the highest number of students using chat GJPT around the world.
