OpenAI Web Browser: Openai no longer wants to be limited to just chatbot. The company is soon preparing to launch an AI-based web browser that will directly challenge the Comet browser of Google Chrome and Perplexity. AI browser preparation in final stages
This browser of Openai may be launched in the coming few weeks. According to reports, this browser will be fully integrated and will help to make tools like chatgpt more powerful. So far, Openai has shown dependence on search engines and other platforms like Google for data, but by launching its browser, the company itself is moving towards further improving AI with user data.
Chrome will get a direct competition
Google Chrome is currently the world’s most used browser but the new tool of Openai will directly challenge it. There are also reports that Openai will include an AI agent named “Operator” in its browser which can make web browsing more smart and intelligent.
The aim of AI agents is to make users’ work easier – they will manage the complex task themselves while the users will only be able to take the necessary decisions. Such AI features can bring a big change in the operation of browser and tabs.
Microsoft Edge also included in the race
On the other hand, Microsoft is constantly upgrading its edge browser. The company claims that the page loading speed has improved up to 40% on average after the arrival of Webui 2.0 interface. Now features like “Read Aloud”, “Split Screen” and “Workspaces” work fast. Edge’s settings pages are also now very fast loaded.
