Pakistan: Explosion in a tanker full of LPG, 6 people died

At least six people, including a minor girl, were killed and 31 injured when a tanker full of liquefied petroleum gas exploded in an industrial area in Pakistan’s Punjab province. During the relief operation, officials said that the incident took place in the industrial estate of Hamidpur Kanora area of ​​Multan.

Geo News reported that Monday’s explosion in an LPG tanker sparked a huge fire, causing debris from the mangled vehicle to fall into nearby residential areas, causing significant destruction. More than 10 firefighters brought the fire under control after several hours of struggle. It was initially reported that a total of five people were killed in this deadly blast.

However, the death toll rose to six after rescue officials recovered another body from a blast-damaged house. The report said that a minor girl and two women are among the deceased.
